We've only just begun! I hope to see this page full with nominations in the coming months...:) But here's a start:
Our mission is to provide the best home we can for the animals in our care and to reduce the number of cats that suffer the fate of abuse, abandonment or extinction by teaching people about the plight of the cats, both in the wild and in captivity, and how they can help through their behavior and support of better laws to protect the cats.
The Wild Canid Survival and Research Center (WCSRC), popularly known as the Wolf Sanctuary, was founded in 1971 by noted naturalist Dr. Marlin Perkins, his wife Carol, and a group of individuals concerned about the plight of canids. It is a private, nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to the preservation of the wolf and other endangered canids through education, research and captive breeding.
Dolphin Research Center is a not-for-profit organization with goals to promote peaceful coexistence, cooperation and communication between marine mammals, humans and the environment we share through research and education. The health and well being of DRC's dolphins holds absolute precedence over all other interests. DRC will undertake no program or activity that compromises this basic commitment."

Mr. A. Parent began what was supposed to be a hobby farm, in the Kempville area of Ontario, but he quickly found that he was the receiver of many abused & abandoned animals.
He cares for all of them himself. His best helper is his son.
Currently there are 17 abused or abandoned horses, a buffalo, alpaca, llama, many cats & kittens, 7 dogs, some were just adopted, but new ones are being dropped off, literally. They house, feed, provide medical care for every animal they take in.
Many horses and other animals are just waiting to be adopted by a loving family!
The Undersea Explorer is a liveaboard dive boat based in Queensland Australia, which
combines adventure diving with authentic marine research and education. We support
research which contributes to our knowledge and conservation of marine ecosystems,
as well as creating new experiences for divers.
Our research projects span many areas of interest including minke whales, sharks,
octopus, nautilus, and water quality.
